Ingredientes (para 3-4 personas):
- 1 taza de agua
- 1/2 taza de arroz basmati
- 4 tazas de leche fresca entera
- 1 cucharada de dátiles picados
- 2 cucharadas de anacardos o pistachos
- 3 semillas de cardamomo (machacados)
- 5 a 9 hebras de azafrán selecto
- 1 cucharada de azúcar o sirope de agave
- Coco rallado tostado
Preparación:
Poner en remojo el arroz durante 2 horas. Hervir la leche. Añadir el arroz y todos los ingredientes.
Cocer a fuego lento durante 30 minutos o más hasta que quede una mezcla ligeramente espesa, pero que se pueda remover facilmente. Se irá espesando al enfriarse.
Añadir el coco rallado tostado para adornar y equilibrar la dosha Pitta.
